Panagiotis Bourlessas

Panos Bourlessas holds a European Master’s degree in Urban Studies (University of Vienna, Vienna, Austria) and a PhD in Urban Studies (Scuola Universitaria Superiore GSSI, L’Aquila, Italy & Scuola Universitaria Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa, Italy). His field research so far has explored the issues of care spatialities, homelessness and subjectification in Athens, Greece, and of foodification of retailscape in Turin, Italy. Before entering the SAGAS Department and the LaGeS team, Panos worked for two years as research fellow at the Department of Cultures, Politics and Society of the University of Turin, Turin, Italy. His research interests broadly revolve around social and cultural geography, urban studies and qualitative methodologies, and publications can be found on the journals Mobilities, Area, Social & Cultural Geography, and Urban Geography.
