Governance and representation of cityregional conflicts<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project goals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Carried out in collaboration with the University of Florence Department of Architecture as part of A.Vast \u2013 Across Local Boundaries cross-departmental research team, the main aim of the project is to understand the forms and outcomes of vast-area regional conflicts, with explicit reference to the institutional framework of the \u201cnew\u201d metropolitan city level of government, in view of promoting a \u201cmetropolitan culture\u201d and a system of governance based on inclusion, integration and regional cohesion.
